AiRK OPENCALLで滞在中のアーティストMarieta Rojas AgüeroによるW.I.P.として、神戸ローズガーデンの201号室で展示を行います。
マリエタは人物をモチーフとして描く油絵画家です。実物のモデルや元となる資料を観察し、ありのままを描き出すスタイルで制作を続けています。彼女が日本にやってきて以来、共に旅してきた紙や小さなカンヴァスに描かれた作品は、これまで共有されることはありませんでした。彼女が日本で出会った人や見て感じたもの、全てが詰まった、ごく個人的なコレクションなのです。
今回初めてそれらの作品を公開します。神戸で出会った人々を含む15点以上の絵画をぜひご覧ください。
展示の初日である4月19日には、14時から16時までレセプションパーティを開催します。アーティストが在廊し、作品の解説を聞ける絶好の機会です（通訳あり）。簡単な軽食や飲み物も用意していますが、持ち込みも可能です。是非、気軽に足を運んでいただければと思います。それではみなさまのお越しをお待ちしております！
We are pleased to announce an upcoming exhibition as a W.I.P. by Marieta Rojas Agüero, an artist in residence at AiRK OPENCALL program.
Marieta paints portraits in oil. She paints from observation of live models and source materials, and the results reflect the subjects as they are. The works on paper and small canvases that have traveled with her since her arrival in Japan have never been shared. It is a very personal collection of images of people she met, things she saw and felt in Japan, and everything.
For the first time, Marieta is showing these works in public. We invite you to take a look at more than 15 paintings she has created so far, including those of people she met in Kobe.
On April 19, the day the exhibition opens, we have a reception party from 14:00 to 16:00 (2 to 4pm).
This is a great opportunity to hear the artist talk about her work (interpretation will be provided). Some snacks and beverages will be provided by AiRK, but you are also welcome to bring your own.
